Consulting - Impact Assesment

Diversity Impact Assessment is now a legal requirement for all public sector organisations and is an essential driver of service improvement. At PTI, we recognise the value that robust Diversity impact assessment policy and practice can add to service delivery and policy development, particularly if conducted in a systematic, thorough and professional manner.

We always seek to achieve best-in-class standards of Diversity Impact Assessment, not only within a client’s existing sector, but also within the broader UK public sector.

Our Diversity Impact Assessment services typically fall into four areas:

1. Diversity Impact Assessment Policy and Practice Review

Reviewing existing policies and practices to assess their effectiveness and best practice benchmark analysis

Policy and practice re-design to enhance effectiveness and improve standards.

2. Diversity Impact Assessment Assessor training

Training Managers and employees to conduct Diversity Impact Assessments

Generally, this takes the form of a half-day (3 hour) module for up to 20 delegates per workshop. The workshop is a practical, skills-based session that helps employees understand the background, content and completion of the Diversity Impact Assessment process.

3. Diversity Impact Assessment Train-The-Trainer

Training colleagues to act as Diversity Impact Assessor trainers within the organisation

4. Diversity Impact Assessment Monitoring and Evaluation Systems

A core part of IA legislation is the requirement to monitor, therefore we work with organisations to design effective systems to track Impact Assessment actions and monitor progress against desired outcomes.
